Jensen Shearer was the hero in overtime as her shot from the high slot made its way through a incredible traffic and found its way across the goal line. The Wildcats gave up an even strength goal in the 2nd period and a Powerplay goal midway through the 3rd period. Natalie Williamson suffered the loss in net. The win set up a 3 way tie for first place in the pool as the Wildcats, Flames and Rocky Mountain all finished the round robin at 2 wins and 1 loss. Unfortunately, the Wildcats ended up in 3rd place after the Goals For/Against Average was determined with St. Mary's in 1st at 0.666, Rocky Mountain at 0.6 and Westman at 0.588.
