Sep 1, 2014, 8:22 am The Westman Wildcats completed their Tryout Camp for the upcoming season yesterday in Souris as Team Blue stormed back late in the 3rd period to tie the game 3-3. In total, 38 Midgets and Bantams laced up their skates over the weekend. It was another great turnout and, for the 2nd year in a row, the high number of participants dictated that we must separate up the players into two teams and two sessions. What a great problem to have. Congratulations to all players who earned a spot on the team and thank you to each and every player who came out and pushed hard to make our roster. We wish each of you the best of luckon your respective teams this winter. Please check out the Team link on the site over the coming days to view the 2014-2015 Westman Wildcats roster. It is being updated with player information as we speak. The Wildcats have 3 scheduled practices this week before jumping on the bus Thursday for the Swift Current Showcase tournament where they will face off against the Team SK U16 team, the Regina Rebels, the Swift Current Wildcats, and the Esso Cup champion Weyburn Gold Wings.
