Nov 29, 2014, 6:55 am

The Wildcats played their first game of the Mayhem Showcase on Friday night in the Twin Cities.

The Revolution got on the board first midway through the 1st period off a goofy bounce that managed to find its way to the back of the net.  Shots on goal in the period were 6-5 in favour of Westman.

The Wildcats really began to press after that outshooting the Revolution 6-2 in the 2nd period. They were rewarded for their strong effort as Ashton Bell tied the game up on a partial breakaway midway through the period. Assists on the play went to Jaycee Magwood and Tori Williams. Shots in the period were 6-2 in favour of Westman.

After a a slow couple of shifts to begin the 3rd, the Wildcats again began to take over the game and press for the go ahead goal. Shots on goal in the 3rd were 10-7 in favour of Westman.

Final shots were 22-14 in favour of Westman.  Michelle Kerdes suffered the loss in net.  The Wildcats play two games on Saturday vs the Madison Capitals and Team Illinois.
