Wildcats vs Winnipeg Ice

Despite numerous quality scoring chances throughout the game the Wildcats were unable to capitalize and gave up two goals midway through the 3rd period to fall 2-1 to the Winnipeg Ice in the final game of the Central Plains tournament.  

1st Period

No scoring

2nd Period

No scoring

Penalties - 1 each

3rd Period

12:11 - Ice goal (5 on 3 powerplay)

0:15 - Wildcats goal - Martin from Hansen-Young and Gervin (Extra Man)

Natalie Williamson suffered the loss in net.  The Wildcats next action is their season opener when they travel to face the Winnipeg Ice at 2:30 PM next Saturday at the IcePlex in Winnipeg.

The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Pembina Valley Hawks last night in Portage.

1st Period

Jillian Szabo suffered the loss in net.  The Wildcats next face the Winnipeg Ice at 11:15 AM on Sunday.  


Wildcats vs Avros

After falling behind 3-0 and 4-1 the Wildcats battled hard to fight back in the 3rd period and make a game of it before eventually losing 6-4 (empty net goal.

The Wildcats fell 3-1 to Melville this afternoon with n Portage in heir opening game of the Central Plains Capitals tournament.

Wildcats vs North Battleford

After falling behind 1-0 in the opening period the Westman Wildcats battled back and defeated the North Battleford Sharks 4-2 in their 4th and final game of the Firestarter tournament.
