The Westman Wildcats would like to extend its congratulations to Paige Hubbard, a 3rd year Wildcat from Brandon, MB, who has committed to attend school at, and play hockey with, the University of Regina Cougars in the fall of 2019. She plans to pursue an Education degree. In 28 league games last year she had 3 goals, 10 assists for 13 points. Overall, in 58 games last season, Paige scored 9 goals and added 18 assist for 27 points. So far this season, in 15 league games Paige has 6 goals and 5 assists for 11 points. In 34 games overall this season she has recorded 13 goals and 14 assists for 27 points. Overall, during her Wildcats career, Paige has played in 130 games and recorded 25 goals and 38 assists for 63 points. From Coach Hodges of the Regina Cougars, “I’m really excited to have Paige as our first commitment for 2019. I think she has the speed and intelligence to make an impact at the Canada West level. She is a great fit with the group that we have and I look forward to watching her to continue to develop over the next year and a half.”
