The Westman Wildcats would like to extend its congratulations to KJ Wallace, a 3rd year Wildcat from Oak Lake, MB, who has committed to attend school at St. Norbert College and play hockey with the St. Norbert College Green Knights in the fall of 2015. The Green Knights are a Division III team that competes in the Midwest Conference. In 41 games this season, KJ, a speedy right winger, has registered 8 goals and 6 assists, a plus/minus of 3 and 34 penalty minutes. In 74 games last year, she registered 12 goals and 13 assists for a total of 25 points. St. Norbert College (SNC) is a private Catholic liberal arts college in De Pere, Wisconsin. Founded in October 1898 by Abbot Bernard Pennings, a Norbertine priest and educator, the school was named after Saint Norbert of Xanten. In 1952, the college became coeducational.[2] The school currently enrolls about 2,160 students. St. Norbert College has a student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1 and an average class size of 21. Regardless of their major, students enrolled at St. Norbert College complete a 12-course (48 credit) General Education Program that emphasizes writing and the liberal arts. The school places an emphasis on its honors program, student-faculty collaborative research (as early as freshman and sophomore years), professional internships and study abroad. |
