Jan 20, 2019, 11:21 am The Westman Wildcats traveled to Ste. Anne on a cold Saturday night to face off against the Eastman Selects. The 1st period was a back and forth affair with both teams generating quality scorying chances but the period ended 0-0. The Selects would get on the board early in the 2nd period on the powerplay. It would be the first of 3 consecutive powerplay goals that the Wildcats would give up in the period to head into the 2nd period break down 3-0. This Wildcats would score an early powerplay goal in the 3rd period as Aly O'Hara drove the net hard and scored off her own rebound to make it 3-1. However, Eastman would respond with two more powerplay goals in the period to seasl the deal. Natalie Williamson suffered the loss in net. The Wildcats finish off the weekend trip with a 3:00 PM game in Warren against the Interlake Lightning. |
